“First Kinetic” Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2017 Collection by Julien Fournié

Spring/summer is the great time of the year because we see colors everywhere during these seasons. As you know that spring is the time of flower blooming and because of the different flowers, different colors are seen everywhere.

This thing makes the people happy and they also want to wear colorful dresses, shoes, bags etc. various designers also design the colorful clothes in this season to fulfill the demand of the customers and Julien Fournié is also one of them, who presented his latest spring summer collection in vibrant and pastel colors.

Julien Fournié is a French fashion designer and CEO of his own eponymous haute couture company founded in 2009 in summer season. He first decided to study medicines and get the degree of biology and after two years of studying biology, he changed his career and started to study fashion designing.

During his studies, he worked at fashion houses to develop his skills and on his graduation day, Paris Fashion 2000 awarded him with the Moet and Chandon Prize for best accessories.

The French Fashion Industry granted Julien Fournié the guest member status which allows the Julien Fournié brand to bear the Haute Couture label and participate in the Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week. Let’s talk about his latest spring/summer haute couture ready to wear collection.

Titled “First Kinetic” this spring/summer collection is inspired by the artworks from late 50s and early 60s with references to kinetic sculptures by Alexander Calder, the colorful paint splashes of Jackson Pollock, sharp pop colors of Andy Warhol and the abstract style of Raymond Moretti.

This ready to wear collection features silhouettes that moves us to thoughts of the beach, hot night and electrifying moments to spend in Miami discos over the summer.

Julien Fournié designed a bustier dress in bright lemon yellow color with a late 1950s silhouette that he says recreates the sense of a fashion sketch like a dripping of embroideries.

The opener of the show this striking creation needs to be seen up close to fully appreciate the craftsmanship as splashes of color that look like paint are actually embroidered sequins.

The silk jacquard organza dress is designed with artistic patches of different colors looking so beautiful and perfect for the any kind of formal and semi formal parties. This dress will go best for the bridesmaids, if you are going to be a bridesmaid then this dress is a great choice.
